Boy Child Inclusion & Empowerment

BACKGROUND
For over two decades, efforts to protect the girl child from early marriage and harmful cultural practices in pastoralist communities have unintentionally sidelined the boy child. While girls were supported to access education, many boys were left idle, uneducated, and without mentorship.

This imbalance has resulted in rising teenage pregnancies, school dropouts among girls, and an increasing number of uneducated young men. Sustainable girl-child empowerment cannot be achieved without intentionally empowering the boy child.

About Us

Empowering the boy child to create balanced communities and sustainable futures

Who We Are

A youth-led organization committed to empowering boys and young men in marginalized communities. We believe that sustainable development requires addressing the needs of all youth, creating balanced and thriving communities.

Our Vision

A balanced and empowered society where boys and girls are equally educated, responsible, and equipped to build strong families and communities. We envision a future where every young person has the opportunity to thrive.

Our Mission

To support, mentor, educate, and guide the boy child in marginalized communities of Northern Kenya. We foster responsible masculinity that strengthens education outcomes, promotes gender equality, and drives community development.
